Unbelievable. Very crowded whenever I've been there and I waited 2 weeks for an appointment. I have a long-term illness, which the receptionists were keen to discuss in conference with the entire waiting room, packed full of other students. I wanted to request a double appointment with a female doctor after I first registered there, but was too embarrassed when, after discreetly asking to arrange an appointment, she started shouting questions at me. Other patients were leaning over the desks, impatiently 'queueing', which meant they were basically listening in on my conversation. I did have a nice meeting with a very kind nurse, but was not able to arrange a dr's appointment in the privacy of the consulting room, so had to go through the trauma and humiliation of booking one at the indiscreet reception desk. I didn't even attend my first appointment with a doctor. I turned up to it and went to the reception, but was so intimidated by the surroundings that I couldn't cope and had to leave. I've been very ill and didn't need this. I went straight out and down the street to register with a different practice. Hoping I will get my urgent repeat prescription in time.
receptionists rude and indiscreet. doctors unhelpful and uncaring. worst practice i have ever been to hence i left. my condition was poorly assessed and had to seek private care.
