Is this really the only place to give feedback on our GP surgery? Shocking. I've had two horrific experiences of late. First is that I've been using a cream on my son every night for the past 15 months and today I've been told that I shouldn't have been doing that. It's amazing that I was given a repeat prescription for 14 of those months but now they won't give it anymore. Oh and also, this cream could have a negative effect on my child. Isn't it great that no-one told me before now. The second is that I was told by a doctor to request an urgent appointment in a certain case. That case one day arose and when I called for the suggested urgent appointment, I was told it wasn't "urgent enough" and that I'd need to make a routine appointment (earliest appointment by the way was two weeks later). You're dealing with people's lives here. Some of the nurses and doctors are great but I think I've had more bad experiences than good with this surgery. I know they've made improvements over the past year or so but the above examples just aren't good enough.

This review applies to an emergency appointment I had with one of the new emergency clinicians, who prescribed me 2 items for my eyes which she told me to apply liberally. After doing so, I suffered a worsening state of my condition only to read both items which indicated avoid contact with eyes. I spent a full day in A&E the following day after the surgery told me there was nothing they could do for me, whilst an A&E eye specialist tried to figure out how to make me better quickly.

I had an appointment today which I had to wait 2 and a half weeks for. The nurse was unable to diagnose/treat within the 6 minutes I was apparently allocated and I left. My dog receives a better service at Molesey Vet.

I would like to express a favourable comment to my recent visit when seen by DR. N. WHITEHEAD at Glenlyn, East Molesey on the 22 June at 4.15pm She tells me she is at the surgery untill next summer 2016. I do hope that the surgery do their best to extend her stay as a permanent GP. I found her to be very friendly and confident in her analysing my problem and explanied to me why I was suffering from my illness. She was also never in a hurry and took her time with me. I look forward to book with her my next appointment to be seen by her again. There are some fine doctors but could do with more but with stability and long term consistancy. As I have a long term on going illness, I also would advocate for the return off one doctor bases rather than to be seen by different doctors all the time.

I am switching to Vine today. Glenlyn fail at the basics. And they don't seem to care that their service is so bad. As a new patient I was told to book in for a blood test. I booked the appointment for 8am the first appointment of the day- as they advised me. I arrived on the appointed day at 8am. they had no record of it. even though I showed them the appointment card. they refused to get me in. I was on crutches, had fasted and was needing to be seen. They had already checked in several patients before me- despite mine being 'apparently' being the first of the day. So,I had to leave. Later I attempted to register for a repeat prescription. the registration form they produced themselves had the wrong surgery address- so I could not find the webpage to register myself. finally I found the right webpage- but could not get my prescription filled as they had no record of my medicine, despite the fact I had registered it with the nurse on my first appt -brought in the box of medicine, showed it to her and told her I take it daily and it is essential. I went in again and was told it could not be corrected until the next day. Finally I registered and they rejected my prescription. If they were a business, they would have gone bankrupt by now. The fact that it's the NHS is no excuse, we should not settle for such poor service.
