My recent experience of the issue of prescriptions has been appalling. The request was submitted on time via reception. An error was made and one item was left off the request. I discovered this mistake on the same day that the request was made by checking the order on the new on-line system. I ordered the missing item there and then. I then went to collect the two orders from the pharmacy. Only one was available, the second one had not been signed off by the GP. After 3 visits I now have a fourth visit to make to collect a paper prescription from the surgery and deliver it to the pharmacy of dispensing.
