The telephone prior face to face consultation if required takes away the anxiety of getting an appointment at a time to suit my work commitments. It’s annoying when in the past I’ve heard patients say they need to see a GP urgently then fuss around when an appointment is offered but it doesn’t suit them.
This Surgery has always provided care and support when my family have needed it.
For the NHS to still be there for future generations people must accept that limited resources are inevitable and that if a cough mixture, paracetamol and other over the counter meds are available patients of any age should not expect a prescription for these items, it costs £15 for the NHS to provide paracetamol whilst it can be purchased for as little as 40p ....
