The quality of care has diminished markedly. Getting an appointment can be a nightmare. Changing attitudes could be intimidating for patients who are unsure of themselves. Self referral for services are a waste of time, if the surgery has already been met, you are referred to phone 111 who then tell you to contact your GP. Catch 22.

Revert to the caring service that used to be the norm.
