I recently had some blood tests done.
When I rang up for the results, I was only asked for my name.
When I queried the lack of request for further ID, e.g. birthdate, I was told that
"there was only one person with that name".
When I suggested that anybody could give my name & get my results, the receptionist seemed confused.
I appreciate that confidentiality of NHS records is a farce these days, but I would prefer
if we at least went through the motions of pretending there is some confidentiality.
Incidentally, your staff member had trouble with her pronunciation of some items.
