It is so difficult to get through to the surgery to make an appointment. For the second day running I had to hang up as I could not wait long enough on the line. Yesterday I was number 14 in the queue and today number 11. I am registered for the on line booking service but there are no appointments at any time available to book on line, so useless option. Similarly there are no appointments available on the automated telephone line. It is almost impossible to see the same Dr each time so with an ongoing condition there is no continuity and no familiarity. The Surgery has grown hugely but has not got the infrastructure nor the office staff in place to deal with this surge in numbers. It has put undue pressure on the existing staff and made it a very difficult and stressful experience for the patients. The service this Surgery provides has dramatically disimproved in the last two years.
