During lockdown I fully understand the difficulties GPs have faced however same day call back appointments have been impossible for me to make. I am a teacher often with no one to cover while I take a call and cannot take an entire day of work in the hope that I may possibly get a call back on that day! The call backs need to at least be available after a certain time or even the option of a time slot system. A particular receptionist can be extremely rude with a huge lack of compassion or understanding. I literally have no way of accessing a gp appointment during term time and therefore have left several issues untreated.
Suggested improvements
Telephone appointment system. Rude receptionist needs training on how to speak to people. Talks to you like you should know better, have had better customer service from McDonald’s.
