Always a long wait to get through on the phone. Can only a a really see a doctor at the surgery if they agree after triage by phone.

Just would be nice to be able to go and see a doctor rather than being diagnosed by phone.

I always have quick compassionate and effective care at ninfield surgery. If it's really something I need seeing for quickly then they will get me in for an appointment and otherwise will book me a slot at the appropriate time later. At a time when many people full frustrated by their GP service, I feel deeply grateful for Ninfield and the excellent care. Thankyou.

I signed in for my appointment on an ipad. The practitioner came to get me from the waiting room soon after. We discussed my issue, I felt listened to and respected. No action necessary. Came back and asked the receptionist about booking an appointment for a separate issue, was interrupted and told to call in the morning between 8 and 9am. Tried to explain that it's difficult for me, but this was simply reiterated and I felt dismissed and left

Receptionists need to be aware that some of the patients have different needs to the general population and may need support in booking appointments or seeking help outside of the established procedures at times. They also need to know that this need may not be immediately obvious (e.g person may not appear disabled or to have additional needs).
