Number one in the queue on the phone for 40 minutes so far, Four surgeries, one number, not a single person available to answer the phone. Shouldn’t have to be phoning, but the promised call back from last week and again this week still has not materialised. Absolutely ridiculous, no wonder the NHS is in such a state when the first port of call is close to useless. Would never have had this under some of the original Dr’s.

Suggested improvements
Make an effort to answer the phone, If a callback is promised, follow it through. Make all the GP’s within the practice see patients for at least 38 hours a week, as it is what they are paid for. Doing a few hours a few days a week is not acceptable.
