There is never a problem when the issue is not urgent and an appointment is straightforward. When one needs to see someone within a couple of days it is often a problem which creates worry. My issue is with needing blood tests etc. We have to wait to see the GP and then after that make an appointment with the nurse which can spread over more than two weeks due to availability of appointments. If we know we are going to need a blood test why can't we make the appointments at the same time so that after getting authorisation from the GP we can have the nurse appointment in place. If it is not required it can be cancelled. Despite the above comments I am still very happy with the practice and my doctor, Dr Peter Deveson, in particular.
