Over the years I have found the Doctors variable, with the female doctors a little more empathetic. Some of the negatives are possibly more to do with their budget constraints than a willingness to help. Reception can be very helpful. Conversely, sometimes you feel like asking for your repeat prescription is an inconvenience.
On the subject of prescriptions, although the electronic prescription service works well on the whole, I have sometimes found my prescription has not gone to the pharmacy and I am left in the middle of the Surgery and Pharmacy blaming each other for a breakdown in the system.
