Share review of Crondall New Surgery
Very small surgery with limited budgets, always looking ways of saving money. Some of the receptionists are great, the others are not.
We are a small surgery in the beautiful village of Crondall with 5000 patients. We have a budget and like all business do need to keep an eye on the finances. We do however invest in our facilities, equipment, staff and training as demonstrated by our ongoing redecoration, new econsult system, new evening appointments and new staff appointments. Medication and treatment costs do not typically affect our bottom line, but we are very aware of the impact of our referral and prescribing decisions on the overall state of the NHS finances and therefore follow recommended guidelines. It is a real shame to get feedback like this when we all try so hard to meet the needs of our patients. I acknowledge that we won't get it right every time and I would encourage patients to feedback directly rather than anonymously so that we can respond personally. Our staff are dedicated, well trained and make a great team and genuinely have the interest of our patients in mind. I don't believe this feedback represents the majority view as seen by the national survey: https://gp-patient.co.uk/report?practicecode=J82628 and would encourage those who are interested to look at this national, independent, verified survey of 115 patients.
