I was trying to get help with my mental health because I have been experiencing suicidal thoughts, it took me two weeks to get a phone appointment, my medication was increased but I had to order my medication myself online. Then I received a call from a nurse who gave me a few online sites for self-help, no talking therapy or contact with a person even though I had suicidal thoughts, she then advised me that if I had suicidal thoughts I should phone my GP which I had already done but received very little help ( you can never get through most of the time and if you do you have to wait two weeks for an appointment). I felt like maybe they wanted me to commit suicide because I actually feel worse when i have contact with my surgery.

Suggested improvements
Referring people to people and not computer courses for mental health problems would be a help. Treating people with respect would also be helpful. Having appointments on the day available and not two weeks later.
