A busy practice, but all the staff are friendly, helpful and work hard. Reception pleasant, cheerful, ever seeking to fit in appointments when suits us best, behind-the-scenes super at organising later visits and referrals plus phoning results home; the pharmacy at providing medicines 'on the spot' where possible after consultations, the nursing staff for their expertise and chasing up patients for further investigations, the manager for sending out reminders for flu' jabs etc. A wonderful Practice! Any down side?..... well minor really, sometimes waiting to be seen by a doctor or nurse, but understandable as they don't hassle patients and give whatever time is needed to examine/discuss/treat. A minor quibble, outside their control, is the next-door-pub's bizarre attitude of gating their car-park to prevent use by surgery patients even outside pub hours...... and of course preventing such parking by potential patrons to the pub. An pitiful anti-social 'dog-in-the-manger' attitude. Fortunately the Surgery generally has enough car parking space, but occasionally it would be nice to access some extra. But, I digress, I am full of praise and admiration for the whole Clifton Hampden Surgery staff and services. Thank you so much !!! 5 Star!!!

We have made arrangements with the village hall (about 500yards passed the traffic light on Right hand side of road going towards Abingdon) so if our car park is full or congested you can park there. I have tried several attempts to get the landlord of the pub to be more accommodating as there has been a reciprical arrangement with previous landlords , However this landlord says he will let our patients park only if we agree to pay him £30,000.00 towards the use of his car park, sorry our limited budget does not stretch to that.Hope that this helps.
