The staff are always friendly and helpful. The call back service is not very convenient. A doctor will phone you back to speak to you first on the phone to see how best to proceed, whether an appointment is needed at the surgery or just a telephone consultation is sufficient. This is a good idea but in practise it is very difficult for me to have a private conversation in my work place. Perhaps being able to specify a time for a call back conversation might be helpful. In the world of 24/7 I think a weekend surgery would be helpful, especially for people who work and the day of a named GP has gone.
