Whilst I sympathise with the receptionists, and they try to be helpful and fit you in as quickly as possible, it is still frustrating to have to wait such a long time to actually get an appointment to see the doctor. I also find it annoying that the computerised system that is completed by the doctor does not, in my opinion, give sufficient options. Thurrock is considered a deprived area but I don't feel deprived and would like to have this element changeable depending on the patients opinion. However, I do appreciate the fact that the doctors accept that I don't want to take prescription drugs and allow me to seek alternative remedies.
