On this occasion the receptionist was very helpful. Most times difficult to get an appointment. When I phoned to see if I could alter the time of returning a 24 hour blood pressure monitor, the nurse was supposed to phone back but didn't. After a few days I went to the surgery to see if I could take the monitor back a bit later, I found the receptionist unhelpful and patronising. I had somewhere I had to be at that particular time. This is just an example of how the surgery is now.

Suggested improvements
Should be able to make appointments in advance, and ask for the doctor that you would like to see. It is very stressful to have phone repeatedly in the morning from 8am, then wait to be told there are not any appointments left.
