My appointment was changed twice but when rebooked by reception it was not the original double booking I had been waiting so long for. I was told that it was my responsibility to mention it was a double appointment but surely, if reception were changing it they would be aware of that! So please be mindful this is the situation if you are rebooked by the surgery. After my visit with GP I went to reception to make a fasting blood test appointment but the earliest I could get at practice was 13th April - 4 WEEKS LATER ! I was told to go to another location in Harrow Road if I felt it was urgent but when you are not very mobile it makes a big difference or to keep trying for a cancellation but not too easy to manage when it is a fasting test! I query the fact that the surgery is still open for new registrations but they cannot handle the patients they have in a timely fashion, so I would suggest the list be closed for a while until they can catch up, get more staff or re-organise the practice a bit better. I am seriously thinking of changing surgery but it would be very inconvenient to go further afield due to my mobility. Sorry I could not be very positive, yet again.
