I don't usually spend time complaining but in this instance I feel very strongly about letting you know how much the staff at Cavendish health Centre is letting you down. The last three times I have called the reception I have been met with attitude each time. They are not necessarily rude but the tone in which they speak to you is just unacceptable and I'm sick of calling up and being made to feel uncomfortable. When you actually get through to the nurses etc you realise that there are some lovely attentive people working within the team..So why on earth you would want a customers first point of call to be a irritating, unsympathetic, disinterested, cold person confuses me. It's like a bunch of moody teenagers working at the desk there. I called up one time in November and was very distressed about a certain situation, to which the woman bluntly told me that she couldn't help me, only then to hang up afterwards?! The way that I was feeling in that moment, that was the last thing I wanted or expected from a health care service. If you can't help me, explain to me politely and with some compassion that you can't, rather then hang up on me and make me feel completely lost. Another time I rang in the last week and thought I had already spoken to this lady just an hour before, so I said "Hi it's *name*, I believe I've already spoken to you" she then responded with an attitude "well you haven't spoken to me so what's the name" Am I dealing with Customer service or am I dealing with moody teenagers again?? If I wanted to deal with moody teenagers I wouldn't of thought my local GP would be the place. Why are these people in customer service when the first thing they Can't seem to do deal with a customer correctly. I'm sick of that reception I don't know who is hiring these people but they Have made me feel one to many times now insignificant uncomfortable and angry.
