It was my first time registering to a GP and interacting with the medical system in the UK. I must point out that before choosing this specific one, I looked over the reviews several surgeries had in order to make the best decision for my future medical care. Unfortunately, I was very dissapointed and I don't trust the clinic anymore. The reason is that the assistant practice manager scheduled me for a blood test a month in advance that didn't take place. Good thing I asked her over the phone if I should prepare in any way for it! Following the instructions and not eating after 10 PM the night before, I presented myself to the health centre the morning after so that the GP to send me home and find out that they don't do blood tests without a specific reason. The GP apologised but she really wanted to deal quickly with me and she wasn't helpful giving information at all (being my first time ever in a GP surgery in UK). At least she could have asked if anything bothers me at the moment as I had a bad sour throat. Either way, I am very sad my first interaction with them was dealt in a very unprofessional and unfriendly way; hope to be able to change it soon as I don't trust them!
