This surgery is the most proactive , compassionate GP service I have come across based on my 34 years of nursing( recently retired) .
From receptionists that WANT to help, and are not obstructive, to very compassionate medical and clinical staff that want to see positive health care outcomes for all.
This surgery is the only one to give a same day appointment without a quibble that I am aware of.........which is VERY reassuring when one is feeling scared and vulnerable.
Cartmel surgery should be the ' standard model' for others to aspire to!
