St. paul's is only one part of this wider healthcare practice so where are the others on this forum? The merger may have been of benefit to the various practices but has not been of benefit to patients. My experience is mainly with North Carlisle (Eden Street). There is a distinct lack of management, perhaps none at all, creating a lack of synchronicity and cohesion between surgeries. Receptionists appear ill-informed or lack training; if neither of these then, and am reluctant to say the word, but unhelpful. I am delighted to say that the on-line prescription service seems to work - if you are able to order on-line, that is. Doing it manually via the surgery is simply a nightmare. I haven't attempted to get through on the phone for a while and would rather pay a visit personally to make an appointment otherwise the telephone frustration just increases stress levels. The doctors I have had the privilege to consult are excellent but it is the admin/management that so badly lets down this healthcare group.
