I visited Brampton medical practice in wetheril today for the first time. Unfortunately I was completely let down by firstly my appointment which was at 0830 and I wasn’t seen until around 0843. Firstly they didn’t open the doors until 0833. The girl that opened the door didn’t say hello which was rude. I then went by reception where another lady was busy on the computer and didn’t acknowledge me until I said “shall I just have a seat for my appointment” then she asked for my name. Five minutes passed and I asked if the nurse was running late and the older lady said no with no explanation. I waited further another member of staff came out and they were whispering in the pharmacy. Finally the nurse called me for my appointment. She was a lovley nurse but her reason behind being late was the computer needed warming up. If she could maybe come in 10 minutes early next time there’s s booking at half 8 otherwise don’t start appointments until 0845. I work in a very busy pharmacy myself and ended up being late for my own patients booked in for vaccinations and felt like I was rushing with patients and playing catch up all day. I’m just leaving my feedback so it doesn’t happen to somone else. If it’s a regular thing please don’t promise appointments at half 8 if they can’t open the doors and see you on time.
