Desperately requiring medical assistance I telephoned the surgery in the mid-afternoon as soon as I returned to my home. The doctor responded to my call a short while later and I was immediately given an appointment to attend the Acute Illness clinic within the hour. I was very grateful for the treatment I received, which was excellent. The staff was helpful and exceedingly friendly.

I WAS SENT A LETTER FROM MY GP REQUESTING A MEDICATION REVIEW AND BLOOD TESTS. DULY MADE THE APPOINTMENT BUT WHEN ISAW THE NURSE SHE DIDN'T KNOW WHY I WAS THERE OR WHAT TESTS SHE SHOULD BEE TAKING. SHE FAILED TO GET ANY BLOOD AND THEN SEEMED TO ABANDON THE WHOLE THING AND ASKED ME TO MAKE ANOTHER APPOINTMENT

In addition to the points starred above, here are some further observations.
The electronic method of confirming the patient's arrival in the waiting room is fast and efficient for all concerned.
I have been a patient at this surgery for 13 months now, perhaps a total of six or seven visits. I have been particularly impressed with how punctual the appointments have been. Whether I have been seeing a nurse or a doctor, I have been called within minutes of the agreed time, sometimes even a few minutes early!
Previous to moving to this area just over a year ago, I have lived in various other places in the UK. This is easily the best GP practice I have experienced and I have no suggestions how they could improve, even if NHS cash restraints were removed!

All the staff are friendly, calming and helpful. My Dr has always had time for me and my family.

I switched to Galletly from my previous surgery and so glad I made that change. They run a much better appointments system and they genuinely care, rather then treating you like another number! Should have changed to Galletly years ago. Couldn't recommended a better practice.
