I don't know what to suggest as even with the help of senior medical community staff my sister still can't get any help. She has phoned and asked for someone to call her back and still they do not. A community Matron has asked for help on her behalf and still no action is taken. It took nearly two weeks for a prescription to be written out for medical equipment, she nearly ran out. This was only resolved by the company contacting the surgery. She is still, after four months, passing blood and blood clots in her urine. GPs have been made aware of this on numerous occasions by her and the community staff. Still no proper investigations have been actioned. She has had cancer once in her life already. Apparently the national awareness programme advice doesn't apply here at Boundary House. She is seriously disabled and can not get to the surgery easily. I suspect it's the people who shout the loudest that get all the attention in these desperate and over stretched times. I would like to "help others get great care" but ANY care would be an improvement for us.
