This practise is not very good at all. I have never seen the same doctor twice and the onus is on the patient to remember every detail, every time you see a GP in order to bring them up to speed on your needs. Their is no relationship between you and the doctor. It seems the GPs make stereotype guesses as to your complaint, so if the doctor guesses wrong (what exactly is the problem) you have to wait until they go thru a process of elimination to discover the cause (if they even attempt to discover the causes) of your illness. A lot of the doctors in this practise seem to be newly qualified, and there is a high turnover of staff (doctors). The only good thing about this practise are the nurses and reception staff. Avoid this practise if you can.

The only way that it is poossible to get an appointment without it being the next month is to come down whatever the weather at 8.00am and join the queue. I have friends at other surgeries and they cannot believe this but its true. Im also finding that I cannot get a regular doctor to see as they are here one month and gone the next. It used to be that the doctor knew you and your case without having to start at the beginning again

Some of the reception staff are fantastic like the young lad when he is on helpful considerate and makes time. But then there’s this female member of staff who is rude, arrogant and hangs up on you if she’s too busy. I suffer with anxiety and when she i call I dread getting her and then when you try to book an appointment you get told it will be 4+ weeks until An appointment the. Get told you can have one even if 4 + weeks is ok as you need to phone on the day it’s an endless loop of worry to get seen. The doctors however is why I still come here they listen and understand and genuinely care.
