Not impressed. First visit to Dr Powell for an elderly relative, he was quite dismissive given our worries and i found him very patronising. We were very happy to pay for private care, given a long waiting NHS list & he practically looked down his nose at us suggesting we were trying to skip the NHS queue. This was not the case at all. We were very worried and happy to pay to see someone and continue to do so if necessary. The follow up after instructions from a hospital consultant has not been good at all, we’ve had to continually chase over a period of weeks.

Receptionists can be quite rude and abrupt when phoning for an urgent appointment. However if it's for a routine appointment with your GP they will do their best to try and accommodate you.
