When I visited I saw the paramedics who wanted me to see a dr so I asked her to let reception know which she did when I went to reception and told her she said take a seat so we did she then walked past us twice, so nearly an HOUR later I asked if we had to wait until after surgery to see the dr she looked surprised so bearing in mind we are both disabled we were very upset she then got Kelly to speak to us who then gave me an appointment with a dr that afternoon I felt the receptionist was very overwhelmed and not really competent

I think the receptionist could benefit from further training I think her name was Christine but once Kelly got involved things were better

Hard to get thru on phone

With regards to my diabetic check ups. I’ve only ever had one fasting blood test when I was first diagnosed. I’ve never been offered any dietary or nutritional advice at my reviews. Instead because they are over the phone I’m just offered more medication as I assume it’s easier and cheaper.

Offer more personalised treatment options for my diabetes diagnosis as apposed to medicating to type/protocol.

Once phone answered at least I have had a 20 minute wait sometimes stretching to 30. I have had a £50 phone bill on my land line with 3 different days. Have a £2 a month phone from sky now with free calls. A long wait usually.
