It is very hard to get an actual appointment. A phone consult doesn't help. I should be able to have a face to face appointment. I understand why it was done that way during Covid, but the system hasn't been changed. I know when I need to see a doctor, & shouldn't have to have a phone call then be told I need to come to the surgery.
Always found the reception staff very helpful even though they must be very busy.
On this occasion I was given a appointment on the day of my visit to the surgery the receptionist was very helpful
After seeing doctor who requested blood samples I was given a slot the following morning
I was given another appointment two days later with the doctor for results of bloods exceptional service
Improved phone queuing system. Reception helpful as usual. Very efficient attention from paramedic, who’s diagnosis and prescribed treatment was spot on.
I had a long wait on the phone and was repeatedly asked to select which service I needed so I didn’t really know if I was getting anywhere, but once I got to the receptionist it was quick and easy to get a appointment
