Receptionists are diabolical and I get the impression do everything they can to put you off wanting an appointment! Phone waiting times are shocking. And when I called a month or so back to discuss fast tracking my knee surgery with a GP (as instructed to do so by the orpathedic unit at St Richards hospital) was advised by the receptionist that this would require a planned appointment, and no chance of one of them for at least a month ! There is no service provided by this surgery I feel.

Suggested improvements
I don't think it is so much the surgery but rather government. The residential area that the surgery supports has increased greatly due to development and no infrastructure has been put into place. Therefore more pressure on the surgery. However, the receptionists here are ice cold and a bit more understanding and empathy would go a very long way !
