I called Berkeley Place Surgery to request a repeat prescription for a drug I take semi regularly which I have to come to rely upon to manage my Allergies. After two calls and a large number of rings - Im persistent - the receptionist answered. At first she seemed surly and curt and repeated unrelated things at me with a raised tone when I asked simple questions. I appreciate however that my call was probably something she gets all the time and it was a Friday Afternoon. If communication is a problem I don't see why an email account wouldn't serve you better. My Dentist does this and I am sure that it enables the Receptionists to deal with common requests more efficiently and in their own time.
