G.p not ringing at agreed telephone consultation appointment time. I have rang the surgery X three times to chase, they tell me the agreed time given is only a guide and the g.p. could call me anytime. I cannot be by my phone on standby all day long. Appointment time given should be the time the g.p. rings please. I understand delays but it's three hours late. I'm afaid I'll miss the call adding to anxiety and not aiding recovery. My NHS employer is awaiting my g.p. verdict to plan patient care in my absence, and I cannot give any information, hence impacting many others.
