It is unacceptable that the Receptionist ask what an appointment is required for, it has no relevance to the booking process and I dont particulary want to tell an untrained person why I need to see a doctor and a room full of other people.
Also why does repeat prescription request keep 'not being received' this has happened to myself and others I know on many occasions and is totally unacceptable.
The surgery is very run down and dirty looking. I have to check the chair is safe and not wobbly everytime I go to sit on one. The toilets are dated and therefore cannot possibly be cleaned properly and to be honest the whole practice is depressing.
Not enough female doctors available to make appointments with. Sometimes it is just not appropriate to see a male doctor when you are female.
Not enough Nurses to complete smear tests. I hate to wait over 5 months before I could get an appointment for my smear test. This is unacceptable and with a history of abnormal smears caused a great deal of anguish.
