Constantly redialing to get through from 8.30am for 20 minutes to then not even be offered an emergency appointment is poor. Also needed a face to face appointment about another issue/ test result and was told to ring first thing to get an appointment for two days later but they were all gone too! I have never known the surgery to be this bad re appointments and whilst i appreciate they get very busy. When you care for someone who has no speech and a learning disability and they are unwell it's important that you can be allocated a slot, even if it's just a gp call. Now i will likely end up at the walk in center on a weekday ! or risk trying to get an appointment tomorrow after another 20 minutes trying to get through.
