I made an appointment some weeks ago for an on going ear infection. It's really impossible to get appointments at convienient times with doctors of choice, Or appointments at times that suit me. However I chose this appointment at the start of surgery 9am so I'd be the first patient of the day and the surgery would hopefully be running on time!! I was signed in well before 9am however I was still sitting in the waiting room at 9.15am. I start my consulting at 9.30am so had to leave. I did try and approach the reception desk but they were all busy chatting and one was re directing a patient to Woburn surgery, however she chose to turn her back on me as she finished talking to him. All this time the phones were ringing incessantly in the back ground so I left without excusing myself. I did try and ring on the way to work however the phone rang for a full 4 minutes and 27seconds before I gave up!!! So I guess I will just have to self medicate until I get another appointment in July. Seriously? Thus is not good enough and I am really hoping I NEVER need an urgent appointment and I hope I never get seriously ill! This is a very poor show!! The service offered by this practise deteriorates by the year!!
