I am fed up hearing people moan about Ashfield medical centre.i have only ever had good experiences with the reception staff,nurses and doctors.i hadn’t been to the doctors for over 15 years until 2 years ago when I just went for holiday vaccinations & while there the nurse gave me a blood pressure test that was very high.The nurse told me straight away I needed to see a doctor and gave ma an appointment for 2 hours later. I hen had weekly appointments at times that’s suited me until they were happy I was ok.in that time I saw many patients getting angry with reception because they couldn’t have what they wanted.If patients showed More respect And politeness I sure it would help everyone. last year my mum has to come and live with us coming up from Watford I registered her at Ashfield who gave her appointments without a fuss & cared for her.Having returned from Spain Wednesday & now in quarantine I phoned reception to say I will run out of my tablets tomorrow & asked for help as it was my fault the lovely lady on reception said leave it with her and she would do her best to have them delivered to me. I was pleasantly surprised when they were delivered at 7pm That is Ashfields going above & beyond there duty Many thanks for helping me Kind regards Ron G (patient)
