I have a disability 14 year duration so far. It is severe pain, it is extremely challenging to find any quality of life and I am on my own with no support. Im 100% motivated and enjoyed 7 years in Sussex with what now seems like 'private' health care. Alton Street Surgery has over 4 years unpicked my entire being. I tried to raise my concern and I was told I had "upset the GP and everyone there". I was telling the truth and needed help. I was told "if you do this again [complain/tell the truth that I could no longer trust the Surgery - long story but I dont think anyone would] you will be de-registered. So to join the only other Surgery in town..... I rang them to be told "Oh no you can't register here we have an agreement with Alton Street not to register each ithers patients." NHS Choices? I rang 111, "That is unheard of! I need to speak to my manager" ...long pause..."its unethical, unheard of I am not sure that it's even legal".

Suggested improvements
As the Surgery didnt follow its nor the NHS Complaints procedure the investigation couldnt begin. It is now though. How can a GP refuse to help or right a GP report for a PiP application to say "I'd rather spend time with my family" when their severely disabled patient's life is caving in around their ears? So much more to say. This is just an outline. Beware everyone out there, or maybe its just disabled people they dont like. Either way dont be surprised.
