It is almost an impossibility to get a face to face appointment with a doctor at this practice. The receptionists refuse to make an appointment at the reception desk, patients have to phone at 8.30 in the morning. I waited 15 minutes on the phone, only to be told, by recorded message that there were no appointments left that day & to phone again the following morning at 8.30. You never get the same doctor twice, so no continuity of care. Nurses take blood tests in the waiting room, no privacy.

Suggested improvements
Allow patients to visit the surgery to see a doctor, nurses should be in a room to take blood. Receptionists could be more helpful I am 70 years old & have always attended Abbey Medical Centre, but I no longer have any faith in the doctors there, or in the system that they use. It is unbelievable that at the last QCC inspection they received "outstanding"!
