Receptionists are very rude when trying to make an appointment and cancel, no one answers the phone and then they gave a cheek to say can you call sooner next time! Shocking been trying to call over 2 days

This practice is one of the worst in Scotland with a52percent score in last year’s survey .You would have thought that this would have rang some bells for change but they just carry on in the same manner weeks for face to face appointments even for blood tests no follow up for patients needing attention a hopeless situation .Cannot even change practice as not allowed.When is something being done by powers that be .’

  • Everything a complete in depth look att system and adopt the ones where practices are giving the care and attention their patients deserve.

This surgery is a joke. You can only make an appointment online and when they are full that day (very early) they "switch it off", so you get an error message saying "are you lost?" Perhaps they should give a message that doesn't just look like their website isn't working properly! Receptionists are like robots with zero empathy and are totally unhelpful. Any time you call you just feel like an inconvenience. My husband also got misdiagnosed and it was left so long that it's too late to fix the issue as his bone has fused!

Patients can only make an appointment between the hours of 8am-12pm via an online form. This is not acceptable that the practice refuse to make patient appointments after 12pm but are open to 6pm. Absolute shambolic.

  • You could allow patients to make appointments during your opening times 8am-6pm daily.

Asked to see a dr for my son, was without being told given an appointment for a nurse who then informed me I’d have to make an appointment with a doctor. 3-4 weeks for an appointment, still behind closed doors. Practice is a total joke . I will need to move for my own sanity .

  • Give appointments with doctors, listen to feedback, take concerns seriously instead of passing messages via reception staff.

It takes 10-20 mins to get someone on the phone, then the receptionist wants to vet you before they'll allow you to make an appointment. I was having breathing problems and had to wait 4 days for an appointment. When you arrive they have you press the buzzer, wait for 5 - 10mins to answer as you can see them talking to the person who's probably waited 10mins to get in. The process is so long, frustrating and they do not smile at you. It's very off putting. They actually don't want people at the centre I feel. The repeat prescriptions are always messed up or not put through. The management in this place don't know what they are doing to their patients or worse they do

  • The practice needs to stop putting up so many barriers.... Phone barriers. Reception barrier, barriers to get in and listen to their patients.. They also close the place at the drop of a hat citing, staff shortages and sickness... Only a G. P. would get away with this, if this wasn't funded and was a proper business it would go bust

Have been trying to speak with a GP since hospital discharge without success for over three weeks. Receptionists are the most unhelpful I have ever encountered. They don't listen to patients and think they are medically qualified to make judgement on who and when requires telephone and emergency appointments. Finally got to speak with GP today who was most helpful.

  • Listen and don't judge. We realise things are difficult at present but nobody phones their GP unless it's absolutely necessary.

They have a very good reputation in delaying repeat prescriptions, sending it to the wrong pharmacy, ignoring patients' requests, and leaving phones unanswered. While they have enough medical staff and are well-equipped, the output is near zero, indicating very weak management.

Poor customer service. Abrupt and uncaring reception staff. GP very uncaring and disinterested.. I asked if i i could have my cholesterol, blood sugar levels etc checked and was told " they are not necessary unless you have had a heart attack" i'm a 58 year old male and surely i'm entitled to a health check but in this practice it seems not. DREADFUL STAFF AND GP. I WON'T BE BACK.
