Carolside Medical Centre

I've been at this practice for three years since moving to the area. My experience is not positive. The doctors are hostile, condescending and not at all compassionate. Both of my children have health conditions, so contact from time to time is unavoidable. The final straw for me was being told off by a doctor for not cancelling an appointment by phoning reception. I had cancelled it online. Even though the phone line is having problems, something in which they have stated on their website. The doctors seem very unhappy and unfortunately they are taking it out on their patients.

I have had a number of recent appointments at Carolside medical centre, for a Cervical smear, phone consultation, blood tests and a face to face consultation. I have been so impressed with the service offered especially at this difficult time. Both Dr Hastings and Dr MacLennan were supportive and caring, took time to listen to my concerns and involved me in decisions about treatment. I felt so much better after my consultations. Thank you for your excellent care.

This is a great practice. Reception staff ALWAYS helpful and caring, nothing is too much for them. Doctors and nurses are great, they don't make you feel that you are a nuisance and very caring. The surgery has a nice atmosphere. Compared to my previous surgery, which was good and has changed so much, I am very happy here and pleased that I was forced to change.

Very good practice doing there best to accommodate at all times. Listening to comments from friends registered with other practises in the area feel very fortunate.

Excellent doctors and staff long may this kind of care continue in our community
