The Ridgeway Surgery

I have been ill now for couple of months and have lost nearly three stones. I weight. We t to see the doctor and was referred for a CT scan and blood tests and was asked to book an appointment 7 days after the scan. I telephoned to book an appointment to get feedback on the results and wAs informed no appointments available till next week (7 days)and that was for a telephone consultation. My health is deteriorating and am anxious about the results but no regard was shown. Over the last few year the amount of time I have heard a doctor saying I am sorry we cannot do anything as we did not catch it in time! I find the whole process totally unacceptable and wonder if the service would have quicker for some one younger? or are they applying the quality of life formula to reduce cost and ease the burden on the NHS due to my age? Totally disgusted withe the whole process.

Waited 2 hours just to get through to make an appointment. One of that at position 1 in the queue. Improvements would be much appreciated

Poor service long waiting times can never get through to their telephone line. I was with this surgery for 15 years have no positive things to say. Rude and arrogant people work there. I had an on-going medical problem they did not help me with visited surgery many times and they now admit their mistakes. Thanks alot ridgeway.
