It's always very difficult virtually impossible to get through to book an appointment. I need an asthma review and not able to book. My partner needs a medication review and cannot book. Phones constantly busy. I do feel for the reception team as they never seem to have more than two or three patient navigators answering calls for a surgery with over 10,000 patients. Calls do take longer due to them having to ask appropriate questions. There should be at least four call handlers for such a large practice. Why don't the partners fund this? No options for booking online unless you register for online svs. Which I was told was suspended due to Covid protocols. I feel deeply for their elderly patients, how do they manage?? I appreciate that staff are stretched and not all patients are polite and courteous, but suggest that this must be due to the increasing levels of frustration everyone feels at simply trying to get medical help.
