The nurse persuaded me to have my ear syringed and said they do not use electronic machines any more as they were not safe so she uses a hand pump. I said I would rather use oil as I had no problems at the time but she said it would take too long and said she could do it gently. She caused severe permanent problems for me as she was very rough and it was painful resulting in permanent vertigo. She must have known she caused a problem as she put on my record that she had warned me twice but that is complete fabrication and I have since learned that they prefer electronic to hand pump machines as you can regulate the pressure more (I was told this by another nurse) therefore she was lying. I was treated with contempt and indifference by the GPs there.
