No idea how Lincluden Surgery is still going - it's stuck in the dark ages. Their receptionists are miserable and not very helpful while the doctors - if you can get hold of one and actually get an appointment - satellite in from their posh homes and are legit scared of dealing with local residents, it's pathetic and snobby for starters. They're judgemental, unsympathetic and do not seem to really care or understand the person I care for one iota. I would not recommend this surgery to anyone. I once suggested they give the person I care for a call via Teams or Zoom. You'd have thought I was asking for the earth - the digital age is yet to hit this dire surgery lmao. Changed surgeries now and life is so much easier. Don't believe how difficult and unhelpful this surgery is? Ask the people they deal with like the various local chemists nearby - not one good word to say about this ridiculous farce of a place which forgets it's there to serve its residents. Do your own research, read the reviews. The doctors are sitting out waiting for retirement. Did i mention Lincluden Surgery was reprehensible in everything it does? Think I've made myself clear lol.

Suggested improvements
  • Everything - you could do absolutely EVERYTHING better. Or at least try. The Surgery just plods on, providing a rubbish service to its community though, and whenever anything is raised, they have a smug answer or hide behind processes - which clearly are NOT fit for purpose or blame someone or something else. It's not good enough and it's about time you sorted it out. Decent practice managers always help, as do decent, non-snobby doctors who actually give a toss about their patients. 0/10

I cannot understand that while I am being treated, both by surgery and the hospital, I am on call to a receptionist who cannot arrange an appointment for me even though I explaining my severe pain and distress. Told I MUST phone at 8.00am in the morning and join the queue. Last time I did this I was about 18th in the queue. This is not helpful in any way.

Suggested improvements
  • I do not ask for an appointment unless absolutely necessary but I am having severe pain and concerns. Yet I cannot book an appointment. To spend 40 mins in the morning is unacceptable. What about those who work? May I say, however, I have nothing but praise for the care and treatment I have received with the practise. The method for booking appointments is very very poor.

The receptionists are lovely. It’s frustrating that they operate a call at 8am to get an appointment system. Those of us who work and are carers have no chance of getting an appointment. It would be good if they used technology more, video calls, online systems. Not a very forward thinking practice.

Suggested improvements
  • Dr didn’t listen and gave the impression they were working a production line.
