Absolutely amazing service. Dr Smart is an incredibly helpful GP. The office staff are also helpful.

This is by far the best GP surgery I have ever attended. Doctor David Smart, who heads up the practice, has fostered a caring, compassionate and professional NHS service that is second to none. I am always so grateful for such a wonderful surgery.

Some of the doctors here are the best I have ever seen. The reception staff however are incredibly rude and give out false information. This is so disappointing as you are left on hold for a substantial period and then to be spoken to with such insensitivy is extremely unhelpful.

On February 9th I called the surgery to ask for an urgent appointment explaining I had a fall... I was asked to come in within an hour seen by the duty nurse who checked me then called the duty dr who explained I would have to go to A and E everything was explained to me and I was reassured..... I could not have asked for better prompt service and treatment by reception nurses and doctors thankyou

I rang at 08.20 on Monday morning with a fairly urgent problem and was offered an appointment at 09.00. I was seen on time and Dr Smart, whom I have seen a number of times before, explained that the hub system with two other surgeries was now in operation. My consultation was unhurried and reassuring.

Leicester Terrace has been rated as excellent in a recent CQC check. My wife & I have only very good things to say about LTHCC. All staff have been helpful at all times.

I have been with this Surgery all my life. I'm finding it more difficult to get appointments with GP of my choice . In fact it's very rare you can get an appointment when you want one. I find it all very frustrating. Really not good for ones health. It would be nice to phone for an appointment and get one with your preferred GP If you call in at lunch time they have one poor receptionist on duty who is trying to answer phone book people in etc. Not a good impression.

Rude receptionist and felt that although the doctor was treating the symptoms in front of her she wasn't really listen to what I was saying.

Whilst the quality of care at the surgery is good trying to book an appointment to get that care is extremely difficult. Rarely is SystmOnline kept up to date so you're forced to ring them for an appointment, be left hanging on the line and when you get through be told that they can't advise of available appointments and to ring back at the end of the week. I had been asked by Dr Smart, who is also bound by this incapable system, to make an appointment to see him before Christmas yet when I rang four weeks in advance of Christmas week I was told they had no information for appointments up to Christmas and was asked to ring back. I rang again a week later with three weeks to go to Christmas week and was told they still had no information for appointments up to Christmas and was asked again to ring back. As a person with severe mental health difficulties Dr Smart is my primary point of contact with healthcare services yet Leicester Terrace have made it extremely difficult to maintain that contact with healthcare services and have contributed to a deterioration in my health as a result.

We have been with this surgery for 30 years and have always been extremely happy with our experience both with the GP's and the nurses.
