Great Clacton Medical Partnership

The receptionist are so rude it is unbelievable. I spent 45 minutes at 3pm, on hold just to get xray results, to then be told after week of waiting, also being told by hospital and the surgery to phone in a week, that they still hadnt been looked at..I told the receptionist this wasn't very good and she replied, find another surgery then and put the phone down on me. Its impossible to get through to crusader or north rd. You can be 2nd in the call queue and wait 45 minutes!! All they say when you complain, is they have problems with the phone lines, but this has been going on for a year. It's a joke. I'd rather my taxes were put to a decent surgery with decent doctors because the place is a shambles.

Not enough GPs --- not eager to do home visits - very limited time given -- surgery very poor -- too small - seating very poor -- too crowed --- some bad decisions made about my health in the past.--- too many patients to cope with

The reception was very polite i was told that there was 2 people in front of me. The Doctor was very good and i was very pleased

This is a very busy practice and would certainly benefit from new premises.. At a time when there are complaints about patients having to wait days or weeks to see a GP, I have always got an appointment quickly and at a convenient time. Patience is sometimes required due to overrunning appointments but this is often due to the excellent doctors a d nurses giving as much time as each patient requires. Sometimes difficult to get through on the phone at busy times. Perhaps additional reception help is required.

This is a very busy surgery and yes, you almost always have to wait a while beyond your appointment time, but once you are seen, the wait is forgotten because of the care you receive. I always ask to see Doctor Jatoi. She takes time with you and makes sure she gives you the best care and advice possible. Doctor Jatoi is reliable and an asset to the surgery. The nurses here are so helpful too, nothing is ever too much trouble.
