This practice does nothing to give decent health care for patients. It operates in a most unsatisfactory way. In order to obtain an appointment you need to complete a form online. This is then triaged by a doctor who decides whether to give you an appointment that day. In the event it isn't going to happen they don't tell you and you wait all day to find out if an appointment has been booked. It is usually the case any appointment is booked for one, or two, weeks later. Getting an appointment by phone is equally challenging. Going to the surgery is no good as you still have to complete the form and wait for a phone call. You find out at some point but not on the day. There is no continuity of care as every time you go you see a different doctor. It is often the case that the doctor doesn't have any interest in you and just goes through the motions to get rid of you. The reception staff are unhelpful and rude in some cases. They fail to provide for patients with disabilities who have to stand and wait in a queue which is frequently very long and slow moving. Anyone who advises them they cannot stand is treated in an appalling manner. There is a general failure to provide patients with an acceptable standard of treatment. People would be better off going to the vet. Very many patients change to the other surgery in Frome as they are so dissatisfied with this one.
