Daybrook Medical Practice have an amazing team of dedicated people who go above and beyond. If follow up appointments are needed they are booked in to save you having to ring back and recently when I needed a blood pressure check I was told to come down straight away. The surgery is always clean and tidy and both the nursing and reception team are helpful and polite. The new telephone system with a choice of where you need directing to has made a difference too.

Suggested improvements
  • They help where they can so I would struggle to suggest how they could improve as they are doing the best they can. I think the question here needs to be what can we as patients do to make their life easier.... remember that old saying 'speak to someone how you expect to be spoken to' and I don't think people will go wrong. We in the UK are extremely lucky to have the NHS..... we have access to free medical advice/treatment... and for that we should all be extremely grateful. I'm thankful to be a patient here.

Let us recall,as best by far Not what they DO,but what they ARE. People of courage and determination Responsibility and Vocation. Shunning the world of the Credit Crunch They are the brightest of the bunch. The Personification of Community Care Symbols of security,always there! Dr Gallagher,this is just for you The part you've played,honest and true. We had no need for a named GP You led the Practice for ALL to see. Despite ill health ,you soldiered on And in History,YOU'LL be the ONE - Who over the years,played YOUR part As Daybrook took You to their HEART.

Not enough Dr. appointments available on line for following 2 weeks, and that is only at begining of the week as the 2 week period covered is quickly taken. have asked but still don't understand how the total system is arranged.

Telephoning for an appointment at surgery opening times can be a frustrating experience with the lines usually very busy. This however is not a criticism of receptionists but more an indication of the popularity of the centre.

You do have to battle trying to get through on the phone from 8am and it can take some time It would be easier if there was more lines open, but you will usually be able to get an appointment that day if your problem is urgent. You can usually book ahead for up to four weeks. All the doctors and nurses that I have seen there have always be very pleasant and caring.
