Uncaring Rude Doctor that I can never get to see always phone appointments. Had arguments with my Doctor last twice we talked because she keeps interrupting is condescending and quite frankly rude. You should change your Job you are too cold to be a Doctor I won’t name you but you know who you are. Thanks for hanging up on me today, only to call back 10 mins later and pretend something went wrong with the call.

Phoned in but couldn’t get past receptionist -all I wanted was some advice from a doctor re my blood pressure treatment (blood pressure drops drastically at times). She says she is only following instructions from doctors which I have to accept is true but simple common sense doesn’t seem to apply any more -my appointment was not for today or tomorrow , just at some time to discuss with a doctor -just wondering if we have a health service anymore!!!!

I’ve never posted a review but I just had the worst experience here. I’ve been with this practice about two years now and it’s been okay apart from the months wait to get an appointment and how they “assess” your symptoms to see if they send you to a nurse or a gp. However, recently I waited for a month to get an appointment for a simple blood test (5min maximum) and the day of the appointment it’s raining like crazy - given that I walk here I am right on time. I am waiting outside and the receptionist is not there, so I wait for about 5-6 minutes. Once she finally shows up she proceeds to say that I am late, therefore she didn’t even let me go into the building and told me there was no way they could see me today anymore. It was 7am and no one else was in the waiting room. I told the receptionist I could wait inside as long as I had to, but she did not let me and I’ve had to reschedule a new appointment a month from now (again). I believe this is not acceptable in a clinical environment, and they should train or change their reception staff as they are rude and not helpful

The doctors, when I've seen them, have been helpful and professional. The duty doctors usually return phone calls when requested. The receptionists have reduced me to a state of apoplexy taking on the role of the doctor, asking for details of symptoms (not their business) and giving advice even I knew was inappropriate and refusing to let me speak to a real doctor. Training receptionists to have a more helpful and less patronising attitude to patients would improve an otherwise good practice. When people want to speak to a doctor, they want to speak to a doctor, not be fobbed off by someone who knows less about their situation than than they know themselves. Sometimes in the afternoon it's impossible to get through to anyone.

The biggest problem at the surgery when getting an appointment is that you never have continuity of Doctor/patient...with the problem you wish to talk about....and also time slots for your appointment. In the last four appointments I’ve had, the Doctor has been late. This is so infuriating, when you make a point of always being on time..No one ever tells you that the Doctor is running late, it would be most prudent if there was even a board on the wall Informing patients that (Dr so n so )was running late. The cleanliness of the surgery is badly let down by the horrendous stains and dirty marks on the waiting room chairs.... I wouldn’t recommend our Surgery, only reason being is that there are far too much patients. We have some lovely nurses and Drs in our practice. Not withstanding the above niggles.....

I am angry that the advice in the phone message tells you to tell the nature of your problem to the receptionist. The only person you should be talking to about why you need an appointment is the health professional who is trained to deal with such matters. Also, getting an appointment can be a nightmare and I feel that receptionists do not always tell the truth about the availability of appointments. The final gripe I have is having to tell my address out loud when booking in. I am a health professional myself and feel that this information should be confidential and not have to be told to a receptionist in front of waiting room full of patients, especially as some of them frequent the health care establishment where I work.

Receptionists on/off interested, happy at their work or attitude towards patients. Depends who you get on phone or when visiting on appointment. Dr's fine. Nurses fine.

At best this GP is ok. The receptionist are inconceivably rude and have very little time for you. It is next to impossible to get an appointment and when you do get one it isn’t for another couple of weeks. The doctors are lovely and friendly, I have never had issues with them but between the wait times, appointments running late and everything in between, it feels like it just isn’t worth it.

Very good surgery. Sometimes a bit busy but they always have time for you . I have been with them for a long time and am very happy with the service and care I am given. My Daughter and Grandchildren also use the surgery and are also happy with the service.
